Ground Beef and Broccoli

What you need: 

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • ¼ cup soy sauce or tamari 

  • 2 tsp grated ginger (I use frozen cubes)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 

  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

  • 2 tsp toasted sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp honey 

  • ¼ cup chicken/beef broth 

  • 3 cups broccoli (I use frozen)

  • Sesame seeds

  • Avocado oil



How to do it: 

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef

  2. While the beef is cooking, combine soy sauce, ginger, garlic, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil and honey in a small bowl 

  3. Once beef is mostly cooked, add in broccoli and chicken broth. Cover to steam for ~5 minutes

  4. Once the broccoli is tender, add in sauce and combine well

  5. Top with sesame seeds and enjoy!


Key tip: 

Serve over brown rice or cauliflower rice!
